About Kara
Kara's musical journey has taken abroad to the ends of the earth....
Kara Lockwood also know as The Wandering Songstress, writes songs about faith, love and traveling to far off places. Her music has taken her on journeys across Canada and overseas to New Zealand. She spent 5 years living in Wellington, NZ (the creative capitol) and this had a profound and beautiful infunce on her as a writer. She also performed on board the Interislander Ferry (connecting the NZ's north and south Island.) as part of the Artists on board program. Her love of travel and music took her all around the North and South Island of NZ in a van while she performed and busked in different places. She has also released 2 Eps"Free Child" (2012) and "Creative Heart "(2023) She is just getting warmed up as a taveling songstress and plans to travel overseas with her music again soon.
